چکیده

In this study TiO2/polysiloxane(SiBi) thin films modified with different concentrations of graphene oxide (GO) were prepared by ink-jet printing on flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates. Prepared coatings characterized means scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), ultraviolet (UPS), Raman and water contact angle measurements. During photocatalytic tests strong change color GO was observed. XPS analysis after suggests that reduction took place. studied for inactivation microorganisms naturally occurring in aquaculture under UVA natural solar irradiation. Effect rGO concentration coating target bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila Citrobacter gillenii evaluated more sensitive to comparison gillenii. Higher attributed 1 5%. The rGO/TiO2/SiBi 5% further tested salmocida, Serratia fonticola strain Lactococcus lactis light. Solar photocatalysis slightly enhanced salmocida strain, while opposite observed strain.

A New Mathematical Model for the Prediction of Internal Recirculation in Impinging Streams Reactors

A mathematical model for the prediction of internal recirculation of complex impinging stream reactors has been presented. The model constitutes a repetition of a series of ideal plug flow reactors and CSTR reactors with recirculation. The simplicity of the repeating motif allows for the derivation of an algebraic relation of the whole system using the Laplace transform. An impinging stream...

Fast and Large-Scale Anodizing Synthesis of Pine-Cone TiO2 for Solar-Driven Photocatalysis

Anodization has been widely used to synthesize nanostructured TiO2 films with promising photocatalytic performance for solar hydrogen production and pollution removal. However, it usually takes a few hours to obtain the right nanostructures even on a small scale (e.g., 10 mm × 20 mm). In order to attract interest for industrial applications, fast and large-scale fabrication is highly desirable....
